Gender Wayang is one of Balinese traditional music instrument. Gender wayang possessed different tunings with gamelan in general, that is slendro barrel. But gender wayang also have the same tone of voice, that is five and ten pieces of leaves. Gender wayang is usually played in two pairs of gender, the first pair of pemade (Gender who has a rather large tone), and kantilan (Gender tone rather small). difference of another gender with a gamelan in general, ie when to play it using 2 of the pelvis. Gender wayang is usually used to accompany staging wayang bali , but it is also used on ceremony Manusia (humans) Yadnya (cutting teeth) and ceremony pitra Yadnya (Ngaben).
